2026 MTA Board of Review Training - Gaylord (PA 660 & Advanced sessions)

When:  Feb 18, 2026 from 12:00 to 16:00 (ET)
PA 660 / Basic Class
Under Public Act 660 of 2018, every board of review member (and alternate) must complete State Tax Commission-approved training at least once every term. MTA can help! Get trained on key topics while also satisfying the state's training requirement. You’ll walk away with critical insights, even if you’ve been on the board of review for years! First, get an overview of the board of review's role and statutory authority, recent changes and updates as well as key items for 2026. Attendees also receive comprehensive handouts and resource materials, including samples, updated forms and bulletins, as well as guidance and information created specifically for the board of review.

Advanced Training: Board of Review Management
Already completed your PA 660 training and looking to expand your knowledge? Attend the "Advanced" training (held online and in-person at Lansing and Gaylord locations) and hear from an expert assessor on advanced topics like potential pitfalls, common trouble-spots, hot topics for 2026 and other issues encountered by boards of review. You’ll walk away with critical insights, even if you’ve been on the board of review for years!

Includes access to valuable resources
Regardless which class you choose you’ll receive comprehensive handouts and resource materials, including samples, updated forms and bulletins, as well as guidance and information created specifically for the board of review. (Assessors seeking renewal credit will find it at our Assessor's Renewal class held in conjunction with MTA’s Annual Conference. Details available soon on our Conference website.)
