2022 MTA Board of Review Training - Virtual Series

When:  Feb 9, 2022 from 11:30 to 16:30 (ET)

MTA's 2022 Virtual Board of Review training offers mandatory learning -- plus so much more!

Public Act 660 of 2018 requires that every board of review member (alternates too!) complete training by the end of 2022. But don’t worry, MTA’s got you covered! We’re offering both in-person and live online learning options this February. Our priority is ensuring that every township’s board of review team meets the statutory training mandate this term. So this year, we bring you one class featuring the state’s required training PLUS a ‘board in action’ segment designed to demonstrate how to handle common trouble spots, hot topics and other key issues encountered by boards of review across the state.

That’s right, there's one class designed to meet your needs regardless your level of experience. (Psst - if you’re an assessor that typically attends our advanced class for renewal credit, come to our pre-Conference  assessor renewal class, being held at the Lansing Center on April 25. You’ll find all the details on our website!)

Live online classes will be offered for those seeking to participate risk free, or that just appreciate the convenience of online learning. If you are seeking certification for online participation you must join a live stream on Feb. 9, 14 or 25 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Online registrants must participate live and fulfill all requirements in order to receive a certificate of completion; watching a recorded version after the live dates are concluded will not qualify for credit.

Special Discount: Members may purchase a 2022 edition of MTA’s comprehensive and updated Board of Review Guide, at a discounted rate of $34.50, when registering for the class. Books will be shipped  to online registrants; shipping/handling is added automatically when you register online.

Need to substitute or switch dates? You may substitute another individual from the same township for your registration at any time without incurring a charge; please notify MTA of the change. No advance notice is required to switch to a different virtual event date; simply login and attend on the date of your choice. Details will be included in your final confirmation email, which will be sent about a week prior to the first virtual event date.
